The Sour Daffodil

Well, Easter is upon us, and in western Oregon there are daffodils everywhere.  It may be a little too much for some of us so let’s pucker up a bit and enjoy a festive, yet slightly sour drink.  We strongly suggest using Limoncello, another great Oregon product.

How to Make One

  • Cool Limoncello & Swallowtail Vodka
  • 2 oz. Swallowtail Vodka
  • 1/4 oz. Lime Juice
  • 3/4 oz. Limoncello

Directions: Shaken & strained over cubed ice in rocks glass, garnish with a sugared slice of lemon & a Maraschino cherry.

Run Like A Rabbit

How To Make One

  • 2 oz. green juice, such as Blueprint
  • 3⁄4 oz. Swallowtail Vodka
  • 3⁄4 oz. Krogstad Aquavit
  • 3⁄4 oz. orange marmalade
  • 1⁄2 oz. fresh lemon juice

Directions: Combine juice, Swallowtail Vodka, aquavit, marmalade, and lemon juice in an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously; strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Top with tonic; garnish with a lemon wheel and dill sprig.

French Martini

How to Make one

  • 1.5 oz of Chambord
  • 1.5 oz of vodka
  • 4.5 oz of pineapple juice

Directions: Add the vodka, Chambord, and pineapple juice. It won’t seem like a lot, but that’s okay! Shake the ingredients for at least 15 seconds; when shaken, the froth from the pineapple juice adds volume to the drink. Next, strain into chilled martini glasses, add blackberries for garnish and enjoy!
